These penguin jugs are what first drew me to Lucinda's work. The penguin reference is subtle and the jug shape is a brilliant fit with their barrel shaped bodies. As is typical of Lucinda's work it is thoughtfully designed and beautifully executed. These jugs are blown so do vary but approximately 16cms high (small) and 22 cms high (large).
These expresso cups (sold individually) by Eithne Hehir are beautiful and thoughtful. Made using porcelain they have a translucent quality that belies the inherent strength of the material. Eithne's studio overlooks the Ballyhoura hills and is nearby the Morning Star River. The river in particular provides a key source of inspiration.
