Fall by Gemma Geraghty

Gemma is an Irish artist living and working in London, UK. Gemma graduated from Fine Art at DIT, Dublin in 2011. She has since worked in the art world in London and restarted her own creative practice in 2021. Gemma’s work explores hardness and softness, darkness and light, sadness and joy and how these opposites are not always mutually exclusive. She expresses this through translucencies, layering, colour and form. Her work revolves around tensions, between wanting freedom and the need for structure, what we show of ourselves and what we choose to hide.
