Taffina Flood was born in Dublin and educated at The National College of Art and Design in Dublin. She received BA in Fine Art (Painting) in 1991 and an MA in Fine Art ( Painting and Printmaking) in 1998. She has a studio in Dublin and also lectures at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin.
Taffina Flood has exhibited both paintings and prints in solo and group exhibitions in Ireland, United Kingdom, France, Sweden and the USA. Selected collections include the Arts Council/An Comhairle Ealaion, National Gallery of Ireland, Portland Art Museum USA, CITIBANK, London, Office of Public Works, University College Dublin, Radio Telifis Eireann, Boyle Civic Collection and private collections in Ireland, UK, Germany, Japan, France and USA.
