Donegal Lime hand woven in Ireland at a mill in Kilcar, County Donegal. It has existed for over 100 years. In the 70’s it was reinvented by Kevin and Wendy Donaghy to preserve a long running tradition. Today their son Tristan works with a small team of skilled makers. Together they keep tradition alive and invigorate with contemporary design.

Donegal Lime is a hand woven in Ireland. The weave is inspired by the traditional snail trail pattern. In this instance the twill and herringbone are reinterpreted to give the blanket curves and boxes. The outcome is a beautiful fusion of the contemporary and traditional. As a hand woven blanket the wool has a loose softness. Finally, its quality will mean it outlasts the mass produced counterparts. Available in two sizes. Please specify when ordering.
